One of the most common questions that comes up every rec season is about ages, birth years, and why the younger players are playing with "older players".

The simple answer is: they are all in the same age category. Your player's "soccer age" is determined by the age they will turn in the registering season. So, you may have a player who is currently 5 years old, but will turn 6 years old at some point in 2022. This means they are in the 6U (or 6 years old and under) age grouping (see the birth year guidelines chart for all age groupings). We follow guidelines set by the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association and United States Youth Soccer Association.

FAQ

Masks will be NOT be required in accordance with guidelines updated on 4/22/2021 in the Governor's Executive Order 21-11. Your player may choose to wear a mask if desired. Those choosing not to wear a mask on the field of play will not be required to wear one.
