  • Each family is required to complete 2 hours during the registered season.
  • Volunteer hours must be completed by the end of the registered session:
    • Mid-October for the fall session
    • July 31 for the summer session
  • Volunteer hours are fulfilled in the concession stand, during tournaments and other events hosted by CR United SC.
  • Please turn in your volunteer agreement to your team manager or coach.

  • A $200 deposit check (maximum) per family is required to be turned in to your team manager.
    • The check will be shredded upon completion of the required volunteer hours
  • Each family is required to complete 4 hours for the entire season (fall, spring/summer).
  • Volunteer hours must be completed by July 31 of the registered session (August 1 – July 31).
  • Volunteer hours are fulfilled in the concession stand, during tournaments and other events hosted by CR United SC. You will receive email notices and notice on our social media sites when opportunities are available.
  • Please turn in your volunteer agreement to your team manager at the start of your season.

*Volunteer requirements, deposit amounts, and roles that meet criteria for qualified hours are subject to change. Information may change from season to season or based on other unforeseen circumstances.

Become a team manager

CR United teams rely on the organization and communication skills of their team manager. Team managers help the coach keep the team informed about when and where games and practices take place as well as other items such as team meetings or tournaments for competitive. You can volunteer for this role during registration or let the team coach know you are interested in the position. Being a team manager fulfills volunteer requirements.

Become a Coach

CR United has developed special training to help volunteers who may have little or no soccer experience quickly gain the age-appropriate knowledge and skills they need to become outstanding coaches. You can volunteer for this role during the registration for your player. Coaches receive a team Coach shirt and volunteer requirements are waived.

The CR United Soccer Club is led by a team of volunteer Board members who help with strategy and implementation of creating a great soccer program for the community. Joining a committee is a great way to get involved and showcase your strengths. Help bring the CR United Soccer Club's vision to life: promoting the sport of soccer; providing a safe and healthy atmosphere for our members to participate in organized competition; ensuring our members develop proper skills and sportsmanship; improving the welfare and recreation of the community through the sport of soccer.

Individual Fee fundraising: MN Fundraising Initiative

MN Fundraising Initiative awards grants that support a variety of youth and adult activities. After each event, each volunteer is able to direct the donation to where you would like it to go.

This includes activities such as:

  • Education expenses such as tuition, books, clubs & trips
  • Clubs such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts & 4H
  • Sporting events, equipment & fees
  • Dance/cheer competition, costumes & fees
  • Music lessons/trips
  • Church activities, Mission Trips, church camps,  and youth groups

And other like events.

Become a Referee

Register with the Minnesota State Referee Committee to get involved in the game of soccer and get paid!

The referee’s job is to be the official in charge of the game. A referee’s authority extends to everyone at the field, including players, substitutes, team officials, spectators, and even assistant referees. Referees keep the game safe, fair and fun for everyone: the players, the coaches, the spectators, and themselves!
